Cups and Plasticine and Streamers

Streamers, are we sticking with black streamers are should we use white? Same for the plasticine.

Buying plasticine:
Alistair has suggested Echersley's which offer a 20% student discount and have 24 packs of FIMO for $58.70

???

I has experimented with cups. I staple them, easiest thing to do. But since the cups taper they curve a little, you just have to staple them at different lengths. >_> You kind of have to tailor them. I might have to make them in the room, the one I've made so far is getting too big

  1. Nice structure!
    Clear white plastic cups could be even better- so that images or textures may be projected onto them...

  2. This is what you need: www.kookaburra.com.au/ProdView.aspx?Product=ZQU81930 black plasticine. This used to be available at my local art shop; maybe Eckersly's has this... fimo will be too expensive.

  3. I think I saw that exact product in Caulfield bookshop for about $5 something each? They only have a few black ones though.

    I called around and these were the prices I got for black plasticene:

    Eckersley's = $5.50 for 500g

    Dean's Art = $4.50 for 500g

    Riot! Art = 3 for $10, 350g each (this w/end only, otherwise its more expensive...)

  4. ;____; isn't there anything cheaper?
    think 500g is enough for two people? Then I could get 10 from eckerlsy's and get that 20% student discount

  5. Yeah I think 250g per person should be sufficient.

    And Dean's Art has a student discount policy as well, 10%. So it works out to $40.50 compared to $44 at Eckersley's. Save $3.50, not much difference. Just depends where you can get to.
